The LeafWing Counseling Center is dedicated to assisting individuals and families restore broken relationships, resolve life transitions, and develop more satisfying interpersonal relationships. Currently, we have a team of state licensed therapists who are accepting new patients.

About Counseling

The client or clients meet one-on-one with a therapist weekly, usually in 50-minute sessions. The first few sessions consist of completing a client history, reasons for coming to therapy, and a discussion of treatment goals. Therapy may last a few weeks or possibly months depending on the concerns involved. LeafWing Center accepts most insurance as well as Medi-Cal. Please call and we will be happy to confirm benefits based on the information provided.

About Our Therapists:

Kristen Roberts, MS, LMFT, BCBA

A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Kristen has close to 15 years experience in the counseling field, where she treats individuals, families and couples. In addition, she is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has extensive experience with special needs children, adults and their families. She has been with LeafWing Center for over 10 years.

She is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology.

Nancy Nguyen, PhD, LMFT

Nancy earned her PhD from Pennsylvania State University and has widespread experience with PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Training). She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and has been in the field for close to 10 years.
